About Night Spire

My name is Mike, and I’m the founder of Night Spire.

Night Spire grew out of two long-standing passions: tabletop gaming and making things by hand. I’ve played tabletop RPGs and trading card games for years, but I’ve always been just as drawn to the process of designing and crafting physical objects — particularly working with wood.

Before Night Spire, I created Laser Edge Gaming, which remains one of Night Spire’s core suppliers. What began as a small carpentry business making house signs and practical wooden items gradually shifted as I started receiving more and more requests for gaming accessories. Over time, gaming projects became the focus almost entirely, and Laser Edge Gaming was born as a dedicated tabletop accessory brand.

Laser Edge Gaming began casually in 2023 and grew quickly enough that I moved into it full time in 2024. That experience — designing, prototyping, and selling products that people actually use at the table — directly shaped the vision for Night Spire.

Night Spire exists to take that same approach further: creating thoughtfully designed, well-made tools that improve play, reduce friction at the table, and feel good to use session after session.
